Some sanding, painting and mounting

This week there have been a lot of work done on the boat. The transom has been sanded and painted. We have made a new, more durable, battery box and a mountingplate in stainless steel.

Next week there should be arriving two interesting boxes...

Keeping the time plan!

The work with the race preparation is in progress and during the week we will begin to put together the new battery box, bilgepumps and powertrim pumps.

New engines, QL trim tabs and the parts for the new hydraulic steering system will arrive in next week. There will be some modifications to get the engines in place but it seems that we're going to keep the time plan.

The boat has now arrived at Dahl Naval for some serious race preparations.

We have dismounted the drives and engines. The engine bay has been repainted and it's ready for the installation of the new engines. The 12 jockeyseats was removed to make room for some new interesting solutions.

This is just the start on the journey towards the Round Britain 2008. Please stay tuned for more updates.
